About Linda
Linda Carsman loves her husband, her three daughters, her six grandchildren, and her one great-granddaughter, and the men who have become part of her family and enriched our lives beyond measure. She considers herself a loving wife, mother, grandmother, family cook, avid reader, memory book creator, family photo collector, and now a writer. Her idea of a vacation is planning the next meal while eating the current one with family and friends gathered nearby. Linda and Jerry traveled a bit after retirement and enjoyed their many cruises and vacations.
Linda, as a teenager, worked at her parent's Dairy Queen, where she was the Dilly Bar maker extraordinaire. She was a Registered Radiologic Technologist, working both in Southern and Northern California, and then worked as a Parent Coordinator for the Elementary Intervention Program in the Psychological Services Department of a local school district. Her main job was meeting with the parents of the children in the program, teaching parenting skills, coordinating meals and teaching parents the art and importance of family meals and experiences.
